GEDENKORT LAGER ULRICHSSCHUPPEN, Public Art Bremen, opening 10 April 2024
Bremen receives a memorial to the prisoners of war and deportees from all over Europe who were interned in the so-called Ulrichsschuppen during the Second World War and had to do forced labor in Bremen’s ports. The memorial created by artist Michaela Melián (winner of the Roland Prize for Art in Public Space Bremen 2018) will be ceremoniously opened to the public on 10 April 2024.
