An extensive research into the musical history of Kirchheim unter Teck forms the basis for Michaela Melián’s sound installation TeckTrack.
However, the artist and musician has also researched the present and interviewed local people. The result is a soundtrack that combines historical sound sources from the town archives with current favourites from the people of Kirchheim – a heterogeneous cross-section of the musical tastes of young and old, fans, amateurs and professionals.
